Louis Poulsen ‘PH Kontrast’, design: Poul Henningsen, 1960s. This model is relatively rare as it was only produced for a short period of time. Production was discontinued due to the very complex manufacturing process. It can therefore be concluded that this model was produced in the 1960s. Materials: aluminium, steel. Main colour: white, lampshades partly with reflective surfaces (polished aluminium), inside with accents in orange to create a pleasantly warm light colour. High-quality E27 ceramic socket (110-250V, can be used worldwide). Overall dimensions: approx. 43 x 44cm (height, diameter). The lamp is suitable for use with classic and modern (LED) E27 light bulbs. Includes approx. 2.20m high quality textile cord, ceiling cup and cord grip for ceiling attachment. Used item. In good but not perfect condition for its age. Some patina and signs of use: The clear lacquer coating of the polished aluminium surfaces has partially come off. Small flaws on the edges of the lampshades, slight unevenness in some spots. All visible in the photos. These traces of time are rather inconspicuous when the lamp is attached to the ceiling.
