Manufacturer: Vitra, Germany (west), from the Herman Miller Collection / “Alu Series”. Design: Charles & Ray Eames, USA, 1958, this conference table was probably produced in the mid-1970s. With a black, high-quality oak table top which does not appear to be original. I am therefore selling the table at a lower price than usual. Three solid brass spacers make the table top high enough to be used as a dining table. Overall dimensions: approx. 160 x 80 x 70 cm (width, depth, height). Very high quality production – very heavy weight: approx. 58kg! The table can be easily dismantled into three parts for transportation (table top and 2x 1/2 table frame). Used item Signs of use due to age: Very fine scratches (photo 12) on the table top, a small chip (photo 11), slight edge wear in places (photo 13) and the obligatory chrome spots on the aluminum feet (photos 6+8) – as usual, with furniture from the “aluminum series” of this age.
