Very rare Danish pendant lamp from the 1960s/1970s. I couldn’t find any information about this type, but it has details that I know very well from Fog & Mørup glass pendant lamps from the 1960s: the two-layer glass lampshade, the way the glass bulb ends with a “sharp cut” at the top, and the inner part with the cork that supports the glass bulb—with the inscription “Made in Denmark.” These Fog & Mørup glass pendant lamps were called, for example: “Pisa”, “Creta”, “Pompei” or “Heliotrop,” and their glass lampshades were manufactured as part of a collaboration with the renowned Danish quality glass manufacturer Holmegaard. Materials: Handcrafted glass, cork, Bakelite socket. Overall dimensions: approx. 35 x 26 cm (height, diameter). The lamp is suitable for use with classic and modern (LED) E27 bulbs (110-250V, worldwide use). Includes 2.30m high-quality textile cord, energy-saving 230V LED bulb in warm white, ceiling cup and cord grip for ceiling mounting. Used item. Small chips on the lower cut surface of the glass lampshade (may have been caused during cutting). See close-up photo. Otherwise, no signs of aging/wear.
